*if you’re either; self-isolating; or have COVID-19 symptoms – we’re afraid we’re unable to see you face-to-face, but we’re happy to advise over the phone or by telehealth online consult. Similarly if you have received a letter saying you’re vulnerable, we suggest you give us a call as we will need to risk assess with you to ensure the best route possible to get you out of pain. In the majority of people who are clinically extremely vulnerable, a telehealth appointment might be a more appropriate option for you, prior to receiving the COVID-19 vaccination. The information below, should answer the majority of your questions, however, if not, please feel free to contact us and we will discuss things with you. It is a complex issue, and we are following guidelines set by our governing bodies General Osteopathic Council, The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, British Acupuncture Council and Society of Chiropody and Podiatry., in order to keep everyone, staff and patients, as safe as possible. We have strict guidelines to follow, to ensure that we all keep as safe as possible, especially as the virus variant has created the need for Lockdown 3.0. What to expect before your visit For new patients and patients returning after a long period will receive two emails via our system the ‘Jane App’. The first one is a 'Welcome' email asking you to set up your account, the second email will ask you to fill out a new health form and sign consents, including a COVID -19 consent form. Patients who have seen us since July 2020, when your appointment is made you will receive an email from us via our system the ‘Jane App` as an appointment notification. In that email for face to face appointment you will be required to complete our COVID -19 consent form. Any patient coming in for a for face to face appointment will also have to be screened for Coronavirus symptoms prior to their appointment. You will receive further short COVID-19 screening questionnaire to be completed prior to the appointment. All you have to do is to complete it and press the submit button! We’re aware some of you may struggle with this so by all means give us a call. Our Infection Control Protocol We promise to take every reasonable measure to protect you and our team.
