Medical Insurance Claim Procedure
_Please note, prices may vary from self-pay rates if paying through an insurance company or other healthcare provider - please ask at reception first. Also see notes below.
Our practitioners are registered with most of the major insurance providers. These insurers include:
Most private health policies will ask you to pay an amount towards the cost of your treatment, known as an 'Excess'. When you make your first appointment, we recommend you inform reception of where an excess is applicable.
A number of private health policies do not cover the supply of appliances or other supplied items that may be part of your treatment. Please check with your provider whether this applies to your policy.
We can settle your account with many of the private health insurers directly, provided you give us the details of your scheme. However it is your responsibility to check that your treatment is covered under your policy. It is advisable to speak to your insurance provider before your first appointment to ensure that you follow the correct claim procedure.
Once your insurance company approves your treatment, we can claim the cost of your treatment directly from them. We will need all the relevant insurance claim details when you come for your first appointment.
