Having enjoyed 18 years as a qualified Veterinary Nurse, Vicky decided to follow her passion and become a Pilate’s instructor. Vicky has always enjoyed a wide range of exercise but she discovered Pilates after having her first child in 2007 and loved the vast benefits that it brought including toning, strength gains, improved posture and balance - not forgetting leaving every class with a fabulous sense of well-being.
Vicky believes the best part about Pilates is that anybody can take part in it at some level regardless of physical fitness. She personally enjoys working with people and sharing her knowledge and seeing it benefit them.
The classes Vicky teaches at the Centre for Complementary Health are all popular and many individuals find them to be helpful in the treatments and management of many conditions such as low back pain, neck and shoulder pain, trapped nerve and general fitness.
“The Pilates class which I run take a slightly different approach that those you may attend elsewhere. There is a maximum of eight people in a class which allows me to focus on each person as an individual, rather than the class as a whole”.
Vicky is a married and a mum of two, aged 4 and 6 years old, an animal lover who enjoy walks with her three Jack Russell terriers and general village life.
