Here at The Centre for Complementary Health, Godmanchester we are launching a new acupuncture clinic on Fridays from 11 am to 4 pm, for stress and/or anxiety relief, with Carri one of our resident acupuncturists.
This will be a multi chair clinic administering auricular (ear) acupuncture. This method allows up to 3 patients to be treated within the same hour. Treatment times are every 20 minutes. The length of the treatment is up to 1 hour.
Patients are treated seated in chairs, and each chair is separated via a screen, allowing privacy & a safe space to relax.
Treatment protocols for stress relief via auricular acupuncture have been used by the US army to administer quick, efficient and effective treatment for the symptoms of trauma & stress.
Up to 5 tiny auricular needles are placed on set points in each ear. These set points calm the nervous system & our major internal organs. Once in place, a state of deep relaxation occurs allowing the body to recuperate from the stresses of everyday life.

Note:The Multi Chair Clinic is for the treatment of stress/anxiety only. All other ailments require one to one acupuncture sessions.
